Position Details

Position Objective
Responsible for all facets of the workplace environment company wide. Research, development and implementation of facility work spaces to allow for effective, efficient and comfortable physical environment for employees and customers. Responsible for budget and schedule development and design for workplace relocations so as to minimize the impact on employee productivity.
Primary Accountabilities
- Workplace Design (30%)
- Consults with multiple internal business partners to acquire functional requirements to develop project scope.
- Develops workspace plans for the interior environment that delivers adjacency and space requirements to meet business partner's expectations and all governmental codes.
- Creates specifications that ensure durable, timeless and aesthetic environments within the budgets established.
- Prepares all schematic drawings necessary to receive architectural approvals and prepares phasing plans for projects requiring multiple, staggered phases.
- Consults with business partners to develop environment solutions to changing business workflow processes.
- Consults with project team members and business partners to provide assessments and verification of location viability.
- Project Management (30%)
- Directs multiple, simultaneous projects with budget and schedule responsibility.
- Reponsible for solutions to all furniture issues during construction, installation, moves and reconfigures.
- Develops RFP for furniture vendors, recommends vendors, negotiates contract and manages vendor during project.
- Coordinates and facilitates preinstallation and premove meetings with team members of up to 25 cross divisional business partners and vendors partnering with Moves and Allocations unit.
- Organizes, analyzes and implements process improvements for workplace environment projects.
- Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (30%)
- Provides corporate technical expertise on workplace FFE.
- Researches and develops alternatives for changing workplace needs, including knowledge of leading edge changes in technology.
- Specifies all furniture for all company wide locations from standards developed.
- Estimates all Capital Budget entries for FFE after gathering information from business partners.
- Development of and adherence to standards for office spacing, artwork, furniture and signage.
- Business Partner (10%)
- Consults, develops and implements projects with internal business partners for interoffice moves, adds and changes partnering with Moves and Allocations unit.
- Tracks and maintains drawings showing all furniture assets of the company.
- Warranty issue responsibility for all FFE.
- Researches special project items as requested.

- This position requires travel up to 25% of the time.
Physical Demands
- This position requires the ability to work with color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) for extended periods of time.
- This position requires the ability to talk between 33 and 66% of the time.
