Position Details:
We are pleased to offer a full-time paid summer internship in our Design and Construction Department. The Design and Construction Department is responsible for implementing the development of design and specifications of office interior and furniture solutions in order to provide effective, efficient and comfortable physical work environments for employees and customers. This department oversees various construction projects throughout the company and meets construction and workspace needs through actively communicating with company-wide business partners. In addition, the Design and Construction Department promotes sustainable, cost-effective corporate design and construction standards and practices. The position will be located in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects and programs utilizing all interior design skills
• Support design and construction projects with various staff
• Manage vendor and business partner relationships

Preferred Qualifications
• Pursuing an education in Interior Design
• Ability to work with teams
• Strong computer proficiency with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite including MS Outlook and MS Excel

Position Objective
The student intern works under the direction of a senior level employee or manager to complete projects or tasks that support the business area goals and results. Performs tasks by adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment. Gathers information, plans and organizes work efficiently and effectively. Applies and learns technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Must be in pursuit of a master's, bachelor's or associate degree or certificate program both the semester before and the semester following the start date of the internship.

Travel Requirements
- This position requires travel up to 5% of the time
