Position Objective
This position provides Marketing division staff and leadership with key operational data, reporting, and analysis pertaining to the division`s key projects, initiatives, and business performance. Establishes and maintains reporting processes, systems and tools that consistently produce accurate and timely information. Assists in development and administration of a standard divisional approach to project metrics, assessment, reporting.


Primary Accountabilities
- Marketing Program Performance Analytics & Reporting (40%)
- Provides accurate reporting of metrics aligned with Marketing divisional plan and associated initiatives.
- Designs and implements processes and tools to effectively communicate metrics to Marketing leadership.
- Assists in development and reporting of measures related to established Marketing processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identifies, retrieves and analyzes data and reports related to Marketing processes and systems. Produces ad hoc metrics reporting & analysis as requested.
- Assists in integrating test & learn methodology in program, project, and initiative performance assessments.
- Assists in overseeing the creation, communication and distribution of all divisional reports. Provides analysis to explain inconsistencies or alert management to trends in data. Provides expert knowledge regarding metrics, reporting and data origination.
- Develops and adheres to "best practices" of measurement and reporting and continually seeks process optimization in these areas.

- Marketing Analytics Data Management (40%)
- Works closely with the Marketing Performance Senior Analyst team members and business partners within the division to assist in developing data requirements that meet the data analysis and performance reporting needs of the Performance & Analytics unit. Assists in the procurement, cleansing, and manipulation of datasets used as inputs into our marketing mix model and program performance development.
- Leads the engineering of software programs to procure data, run simple statistical analyses, and develop simple reports.

- Market & Customer Segment Analytics & Reporting (10%)
- Assists in the analysis and communication of the opportunity, economic value, and profile of demographic, behavioral, attitudinal, and multicultural based segments.
- Assists in determining the opportunity, economic value, and profile of market based segments that are based upon geography and/or product attributes.
- Collaborates closely with business partners to define strategic segments that impact the business and consult with the unit`s statisticians on segment development.
- Assists in maintaining ongoing reporting on segment trends and develop recommendations based upon emerging trends.

- Marketing Performance Consulting (10%)
- Develops and maintains a collaborative working relationships across the organization ensure a consistent approach to analysis of project/program effectiveness and financial impact.
- Assists in root cause analysis of marketing performance metrics that have deviated from plan/forecast. Proactively works to ensure analysis results are clearly communicated and understood by Marketing leadership. Effectively interprets analysis results and assists in presentation to decision-makers as appropriate.
- Assists in the development of post-implementation measures of project and initiative performance and identifies opportunities to continuously improve the program performance.
- Maintains an awareness and thorough understanding of industry, company, and Marketing specific results, trends, and performance gaps and leverages that knowledge to create effective marketing analytics that provide key performance drivers that are relevant and actionable.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Demonstrated experience with developing reports that assess the performance of business programs.
- Demonstrated experience with extracting, cleansing, merging, and transformation of datasets using software programs.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Excel based analysis.
